A desperate band of adventures meet up in a small tavern in a small remote village.
Boko (Dwarf Barbarian) is sitting at a table drinking beer. Normally he doesn't drink much, but this small town is so boring he has to.
Here he meets up with Frank (human fighter), a local nobility person. He thinks everyone is his servant. Frank is very condescending and asks Boko to carry his fighting gear. Boko simply sneers at him...
Also Marcello (Elf Rogue) who must have his own reasons for being here. But he ain't talking...
Then there is Vanni (Halfing Wizard), she is there, but not talking as well...
The mayor of the village introduces himself to the party and asks for their help to find his wife who has disappeared. He gives some suggestions as to who they should speak to in regard to all the disappearances in the town.
The group go to the businesses in the village based upon the Mayor's recommendations. The first place they visit is the antique shop. Here the owner fancies Boko is the sexual way. Marcello suggests that he go in the back room with the owner to get further information. Even though Boko's headlights are on, doesn't feel right about doing such a thing.
After that the party goes to the temple, where the priest blames Jill Hillgarden, a druid that lives outside town.
Finally after talking to a number of people on what to do, the party leaves town and goes to visit the Druid. As they leave town they find a broken up cart, which is setup as an ambush. Out of the woods 4 blights attack. A blight looks like a collection of sticks mashed together.
Finally they find the druids house and she sends her wolves to attack. Which was stupid since Boko smashes them to a pulp.
Jill the druid cries after the loss of her wolves and provides little information to help them determine what hapened.
Then the party goes to a large manor to speak to the owner. A servant comes to the door stating that the owner only greets visitors at night, and to come back and midnight to meet with him.
