After defeating the Giant Zombie the adventures are exhausted, but not dead. As the dust settles they notice that Marcello is missing! Boko yells his name over and over again, but all they hear is the echo 'ello', 'ello'...
They spend a few moments to rest and drink a single potion of cure light wounds each before continuing into the horrible city. The area is eerily quiet and a subtle fog envelops everything.
Finally the group continue down the street and come around a bend. As they make the turn they see a single female warrior fighting a zombie. Frank and Boko immediately start to run up to help defend her. But as they approach a number of other zombies start to come out of the woodwork it seems. They start to fight a large group of zombies now.
The paladin the adventurers fought was Ashlyn, a member of the Lightbringers company, worshiper of Lathander.
Finally Boko manages to barricade a couple of the entrances the zombies were coming out of, so that they can speak with the female. She introduces herself as a paladin of Desna. She says she is part of a larger group.
After speaking to the female for a while, she is smitten with Vanni and flirts with her. Offering to heal all our wounds for a kiss. Vanni doesn't feel too comfortable with this, but we are wounded!
Then we decide to explore the church at the top of the hills since all other paths through the village are barricaded. In the church the party finds a large hole with a crazy priest next to it. A fight ensues and all the bad guys are killed. The party determines that something in the hole is the source of the evil corruption that took over the city.
At the local church, they fought Donovish a priest mad in grief for the lost of his son. He performed a dark ritual (you found the details of how to perform the ritual). The ritual went wrong and spread a zombie infestation in town. Now you must face the source of evil that lies at the basement of the church.
Frank was very helpful with his katana, slicing and dicing zombies just like in The Walking Dead TV show!

The Heart of the Swarm
The entrentip group entered the dark forest scared and tired. After killing the Zombie gaurdian at the manor they felt shaken.
Then they walked into a scary haunted forest. A pack of wolf attacked them.
Then they found a clearing and a strange Elf yelled at them and was rude. He also turned into a wolf and attacked.
Then they got to a scary village that was full of zombies and a large Ogre Zombie! We kicked his ass also.

Ravenloft Round Two
[Going back to the village]
The party is tired after all the combat of the blights and large tree. Yet they are in need of refreshment. They wandered back to the village.
But the village is enveloped in a dense fog, and everything is very very quiet. Boko yells for anyone to hear. But there is only silence. This silence makes Boko thirsty, so he heads to the tavern for beer. Which the party follows.
As we enter the tavern there are a couple of frightened people inside that threaten with wimpy weapons. Boko ignores them and goes for the beer.
Frank recognizes the female and they hug and talk briefly.
[Final Investigation]
The evening ends with a scary situation in which they investigate the manor. Arriving at midnight that was requested they find the manor eerily quiet. But then they see flashes of light on the second floor.
In which pounding on the front door no one opens it. Finally the party tries to open the door and they find it unlocked. As they go into the manor they find that there are candles on the ground leading up to two doors on the second floor.
After fighting the last boss they go back to the village and Boko crashes on a old smelly bedroll in the cellars of the tavern.

Ravenloft Round One
A desperate band of adventures meet up in a small tavern in a small remote village.
Boko (Dwarf Barbarian) is sitting at a table drinking beer. Normally he doesn't drink much, but this small town is so boring he has to.
Here he meets up with Frank (human fighter), a local nobility person. He thinks everyone is his servant. Frank is very condescending and asks Boko to carry his fighting gear. Boko simply sneers at him...
Also Marcello (Elf Rogue) who must have his own reasons for being here. But he ain't talking...
Then there is Vanni (Halfing Wizard), she is there, but not talking as well...
The mayor of the village introduces himself to the party and asks for their help to find his wife who has disappeared. He gives some suggestions as to who they should speak to in regard to all the disappearances in the town.
The group go to the businesses in the village based upon the Mayor's recommendations. The first place they visit is the antique shop. Here the owner fancies Boko is the sexual way. Marcello suggests that he go in the back room with the owner to get further information. Even though Boko's headlights are on, doesn't feel right about doing such a thing.
After that the party goes to the temple, where the priest blames Jill Hillgarden, a druid that lives outside town.
Finally after talking to a number of people on what to do, the party leaves town and goes to visit the Druid. As they leave town they find a broken up cart, which is setup as an ambush. Out of the woods 4 blights attack. A blight looks like a collection of sticks mashed together.
Finally they find the druids house and she sends her wolves to attack. Which was stupid since Boko smashes them to a pulp.
Jill the druid cries after the loss of her wolves and provides little information to help them determine what hapened.
Then the party goes to a large manor to speak to the owner. A servant comes to the door stating that the owner only greets visitors at night, and to come back and midnight to meet with him.
